It's using more memory load than it did before as it's now working at full hashrate. It's normal, even if it's quite hot. Most GDDR6X cards will have memory junction temp values between 80 and 100C, depending on where they sit and the room temperature.
The main issue is that rigs like these usually have GPUs sitting close together, and you have 8 of them. It's not an issue with GDDR6, but with GDDR6x, it can increase temperature beyond what you would want it to be. Increase ventilation around your rig so that air can move freely around. My GDDR6x cards usually sit between 86 and 96C, which is high, but still acceptable. As long as you keep them under 100C, it should be fine, but the lower, the better.
I would decrease the mem clock to 2200, which gives 79-80MH/s but lower mem temperature. If that cannot help, try to replace the stock thermal pad with a mid/high end one, which normally decreases mem temperature by 10-20 degree.
turn your fans to 100%, Also your PL should be 195
Hi, I'm using an asus tuf 3070ti-o8g gaming, the hashrate I get is stable, but the mem temp is very hot, is that normal? I tried lowering the mem clock but the mem-temp is still hot and the hasrate is dropping. any solutions or suggestions? please help
