It's impossible to build something serious on SkyNet, because:

$ curl --head https://siasky.net/CAAVU14pB9GRIqCrejD7rlS27HltGGiiCLICzmrBV0wVtA
HTTP/2 405
server: nginx/1.14.2
date: Sun, 01 Mar 2020 23:08:42 GMT
content-type: text/plain; charset=utf-8
content-length: 19
allow: GET, OPTIONS
x-content-type-options: nosniff

returns a wrong content-length:.

DaWe35 commented 4 years ago

@vporton I ran into it yesterday. I wanted to check is the given Skynet hash valid, but when I curl for ONLY HEADER, it returns 405 status. Fun fact, 404 and 405 are not the same, so I can check the difference LOL.

But for more info... You get 405, that's why content-length = 19. I think it will be fixed very soon, I submitted an issue here: https://github.com/NebulousLabs/skynet-webportal/issues/58

ScottG showed this trick: curl https://siasky.net/[skylink] -i -r 0-0
