No, that probably should not be included. It's more a debugging tool and resuted from a "hey, one could have little helper binaries that do interesting things"-approach I had once (but quickly died as I ran out of ideas).
Adding a README might be useful, I'll see that I can write something up.
NB: here is the PKGBUILD for Arch: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=feed2imap-go
NB#2: Current version is 1.6.0 (which includes the fix for the bug you opened), you might want to take this into account.
Nixpkgs (master) now ships feed2imap-go 1.6.0
Thanks for the heads-up, I'll add this to the README.
(Btw: Thanks to you, I'm currently checking whether I can switch to NixOS on my server :P)
The answer is yes. ;-)
I’m packaging feed2imap-go for nixpkgs at https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/222690 and I am unsure what to do with the
print-cache
binary. Is that something you’d expect to be included in a distro packaging?Maybe a small README in https://github.com/Necoro/feed2imap-go/tree/master/tools/print-cache would be helpful.
