Pokemon API updated #422

Closed LCCoolJ95 closed 7 years ago

LCCoolJ95 commented 7 years ago

Decided to use this app again, but there's a problem:

[10:58:57] (UPDATE) Perfect! You already have the newest Version 1.0.0.32 [10:58:57] (INFO) Logging in using Google [10:58:58] (ERROR) (KILLSWITCH) We have detected a Pokemon API change. The bot emulates API version 0.45.0, which is no longer supported. Minimum API version is now 0.49.0. [10:58:58] (INFO) The bot will now exit after hitting the enter key.

Uh, anyone know when this will be fixed?

macinmn commented 7 years ago

everything will be fixed Dec 25, and then updated again Apr 1 (you'd know this was sarcasm if you read ANY other threads here or anywhere else that discusses 3rd party apps)

LCCoolJ95 commented 7 years ago

...so there's no ETA of when this will be fixed?

junreygc commented 7 years ago

one of the FastPokeMap team leaked the cracked API to the public after quitting from the dev community, now some bots and scanner sites are back online, then most likely necrobot will follow

Update: some bot makers are having difficulty or not yet confirmed whether the cracked API is available, also read about the third group of devs having the latest API cracked after PokeFarmer and FastPokeMap

CyberCrack commented 7 years ago

Will necrobot be working again?? can anyone tell me how much longer will take to get the new bot up and running??

BaiqingL commented 7 years ago

Everyone wondering can stop asking. There is no ETA. It's basically like a project with no due date. No one is making promises and most likely never will. If you are waiting then follow up the news and watch this GitHub Repo. Stop complaining and wondering. Just wait or go and play the game.

junreygc commented 7 years ago

0.51 API is out and been cracked right away, but the cracked API is going to be a pay-to-use, so this means bots are also going to be pay-to-use, so no more free and open cracked API in the future so expect to pay for bots, good news is that Niantic won't see the code but only the hash keys in pay-to-use, so they will most likely have a hard time updating their security in the next API

LCCoolJ95 commented 7 years ago

Where would they be then? I can't find them.

junreygc commented 7 years ago

PokeFarmer devs have the cracked API, it is up to them now, necrobot is not updating us users so I read somewhere else

junreygc commented 7 years ago

the paid API is about to be available for purchase, i've heard a few days after christmas and the price is low, so the question is that, can necrobot still be a free bot? other bots say they continue to offer free versions since the API price is low

samuraitruong commented 7 years ago

fixed

junreygc commented 7 years ago

thanks for the free version, i'm not using the paid version since it is still not 100% safe, great work guys

AlexTeixeira commented 7 years ago

You are currently using the old api ?

LCCoolJ95 commented 7 years ago

So is this app free or not?

odhinne commented 7 years ago

i'm confused. why am I paying pokefarmer to use your bot, why wouldn't I just use pokefarmer then?

junreygc commented 7 years ago

free version is offered through the legacy API and @AlexTeixeira i'm using it, @odhinne you are paying the hashing service and not the pokefarmer bot @LCCoolJ95 still free, with a paid API :P

odhinne commented 7 years ago

Then why not just use pokefarmer? At least then, if there is a problem, i can expect them to fix it, since i'm paying them. Here, if there is a problem there is no pressure to fix it since its free, and i'm paying for a hashing service thats useless at that point? Although, free but you have to pay for this other thing is not free.... just saying. This situation just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for the end user, unless i'm missing a major point.

odhinne commented 7 years ago

Oh, and i clicked on the link, took me to a page with a bunch of options to click on, but i have no idea what file/option i'm looking for, can someone clarify what we're supposed to be buying?

junreygc commented 7 years ago

@odhinne you are paying for your safety through the latest API, the hashing service is the main reason why Niantic will not ban your account because you are communicating to their servers using the latest API, if you use PokeFarmer you are paying the bot plus the hashing service, if you use necro you only pay hashing service, every action of the player is equivalent to 1 request to Niantic server that is why RPM or request per minute is the basis for your payment, 150RPM is already a good choice if you only have 1 account to bot.

johnnylim78 commented 7 years ago

How to we pay?

@johnnylim78 as far as i know you can pay via credit cards, paypal accounts, and sofort ebanking.

johnnylim78 commented 7 years ago

Ok. Pay to who, how much I need to pay to have the bot working

junreygc commented 7 years ago

@johnnylim78 you pay to owner of the hashing server which is same group that released PokeFarmer bot, the 150RPM subscription costs €3.95/month

junreygc commented 7 years ago

just to warn everyone using the legacy API that you should not enable egg hatching because your account will not be able to sign in using the legacy API, this will happen right after you hatch an egg with a pokemon discovered in Johto Region from Pokemon Gold & Silver video games

mahavidhan commented 7 years ago

@junreygc Its the same cost at pokefarmer. I dont think they charge differently for bot. Their website says "get the Pokefarmer Full 1 Month Access for only 3.95 EUR" so even I fail to understand and agree to @odhinne why not use pokefarmer directly rather than using necro+hashing service. Is there any cost benefit or any other advantage of using necro+hashing? Please advice

junreygc commented 7 years ago

@mahavidhan i'm saying bot+hash because hashing is new and pokefarmer is already paid before hash came out necrobot is what i've been using and i'm already used to it's settings & features, using another bot will waste my time familiarizing new set-up & features, though there is advantage on paid support than free support but it is very small difference

odhinne commented 7 years ago

ok, for those of us that are just geeky enough to play pokemon, but not enough to know all this codeing stuff, I have the pokehash key, but what do I do with it?

junreygc commented 7 years ago

congrats @odhinne enjoy your safe botting, for those using the legacy API and don't want the captcha thing you need to watch your bot, it should not be traveling to a pokestop over 300 meters away, you will lose some of your pokemon catch per hour but you can use sniper to avoid it, sniper is not safe but you are already unsafe using the legacy API, now i get captcha 2 hours instead of 20 minutes

odhinne commented 7 years ago

last 3 lines: (attention) notification sending failed (error) Probably Permanent Ban! (error) this bot will no exit after hitting the enter key.

so... that seems bad

junreygc commented 7 years ago

@odhinne i think it's just a bug that needs fixing, also for those using the legacy API you need to lower your RPM from the bot and maximize RPM from your official PoGo app, so my bot now does only item recycling pokestop spins and pokemon catch and all the rest i do on my official PoGo app like transfer evolve power-up gym battle etc., i tried to disable item recycling on bot but can't find the option, now it's been 3 hours with no captcha

odhinne commented 7 years ago

yeah, it made 63 catches while it was running, and 15 evolves. I'd like to turn off the evolves and the transfers (is that what you mean by recycling?) so I can maximize what I have on hand for events and or lucky eggs. and it wasn't a permanent ban, I'm already back in on that account, I had set up a second account just to see how this works rather then risk my main one anyway. of course I'm overly cautious, I'm an engineer with a back ground in accounting, its hard to find a more anal retentive combo then that lol

junreygc commented 7 years ago

@odhinne no problem for you because you have the hashing service, but if you do what i'm suggesting it will make you safer, we free legacy API users need to evade this captcha thing, what i mean item recycling is that the player's action to maintain a certain amount of items like pokeballs potions berries etc. on his bag, that way my RPM is only on pokestop spins and pokemon catch

odhinne commented 7 years ago

so, to clarify, say the number of pokeballs to keep is set at 80, when the bot encounters a pokestop, it trashes any balls received if inventory shows 80 or higher? when I read that line of the config, I thought it meant it would not use balls if you dropped below 80, ie, 80 was a minimum number, not a max. so, to stop it from recycling, you set the number of items higher I guess? and I know its getting off topic from the original question on this thread, but, I was wondering how the bot walked. does it do a spiral out from its start point, a straight line in a random direction, or pokestop to pokestop? or is movement just random?

junreygc commented 7 years ago

you're right on the minimum, but there is also a maximum under the recycling setting and that triggers trashing if bag is at 90% full, maybe the reason for not having the option to stop is that the bot will not be able to farm pokestops when bag is full and it will think of soft ban, by default the bot follows google walking and i understand it as not a straight line but follows the streets pattern, if you disable google walk then it uses the bot walking and that is what i understand as point-to-point walking or straight line, with regards to off topic users with moderating capability can close or move our conversation to a separate thread or just advise us to create new one depends on what they want

hardknoxni69a commented 7 years ago

The hashing service is a paid option for those who prefer to use the latest niantic API the legacy .45 API is extremely old and extremely high risk of ban. Those who are wondering why not just use PokeFarmer please download pokefarmer app first and take a look at there options they offer it has only the very basic customizations everyone is open to choose what they like they cost the same but with necro you have way more options so to use latest api and have greatest features its a no choice in most peoples eyes
