Player freezes / never fill the cache when playing some of the web-tv channels #400

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. play some of the web-tv cannels
2. Caching starts and then 'freezes' (mostly just too slow=hours) 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At least I expect I could break the load while caching and not have to use 
reset button or even have to turn off the power to the wii.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.75, 4.1

Do you have a modchip?
no

Please provide any additional information below.
I think the caching code could look for 'home' button or at least break if 
no (or too slow) progress after some time. 
Would be a HUGE improvement to the player.
