One inaccessible SMB share prevents access to all others #43

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an smb.conf with two shares, on two machines
2. Turn one machine off
3. Try to browse the share on the running machine.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: be able to browse the share on the running machine.
Happens: mplayer shows sd instead, and also stops responding after about a
minute.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MPlayer CE 0.21

Please provide any additional information below.
The solution seems to be: mount an smb share only when accessed.

Thank you for your bug report. Is the PC you turn off listed first or second in
smb.conf. Does it make a difference if you switch the order around?

Hi AgentX, Thanks for the quick reply.

The situation I described is when the "off" share is listed second.

I tried reversing the definition order and then mplayer also shows the sd card
when I
try to browse the good share, but this time doesn't freeze (in the case where
the
"off" share is second, it shows sd and after less than a minute, regardless of
the
operation I'm attempting, freezes as I described above).

Needless to say, when I only define the "on" share everything works fine.

Is this issue still present with the latest release?

Hi AgentX,
I see the same problem except that I just get a long pause before finally being
shown
the directory of my working share (instead of the SD card as the jean luc gets)
if
the second share is unavailable. The problem is still present in the latest
version
(3a). Again, if I only define the one share, then it works fine.
