What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use any subtitle with EasternEurope coding.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using 0.76. I also have 0.62.
My suggestion is that you add support for any type of letters(characters) in
subtitles. In my
country, in Slovenian language we also use the letters š č and ž, those are
a part of EastEurope
coding in subtitles. When I load a video with subtitles in 0.62 I usually get
letters replaced by á
or é. I updated to 0.76 yesterday and now it skips two of these letters (I
think š and č), it doesn't
even replace them, just skips them. The other one stays same.
So you should add Unicode or a similar system to subtitles. I will be glad to
help by BetaTesting
it.
Otherwise, congratulations guys, this really is a piece of work! Can't wait to
get this issue fixed.
