FTP config vs. Iomega Ix2 NAS

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.FTP connection configured on Wii as below
#FTP share1  (ftp1:/)
ip1=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
share1="/Movies" 
user1=
pass1=
passive1=0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I can login from my PC on the NAS ftp server but not from the Wii

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Do you have a modchip?

Suggested build works better for me, but crashes when loading a file.
At least I get the list of files this time, but not always.

I am having this issue now as well... It would connect to my ix2-200 but freeze 
after about 5-10 mins of playing a video before installing iso202. Installed 
iso202 
to stop the freezing and now all Mplayers I have tried including today's beta 
say 
they are connecting to FTP but don't display a menu.  Any help yet?
