regarding career prospective for self-taught developer

Hey again, I'm a self taught developer. Started coding journey 8 months ago. Also I'm a college drop-out and from business background . It would be helpful if you can give some insights about how to approach for job applying for a for self-taught developers Currently I'm a MERN stack developer

Hey,

Either you are self-taught or a programming student. When you apply for the job, recruiters look for a candidate who has:

• Strong GitHub profile
• Open source collaborations
• How good you are in the skills you have mentioned in your CV or applying for
• Your attitude, communication, and presentation also do matter.

To Do:

• Make 2-3 side projects and host them on Github.
• Make a website about you and your portfolio
• Maintain your LinkedIn profile
• Attend Meetups and do networking
• If you can do blogging then it is good otherwise you can do coding contribution too.

Reason for all these is when 10 people are applying for the job and if you have all these it will make you stand apart from them. Every time you apply for a job do share :

• Linkedin
