Description

Currently the wav exploit only works on the newer version of the amazon dash buttons (JK29LP), but a lot of users still have the old gen1 buttons as well. I believe only some offsets need to be changed to allow the wav file to affect those devices as well.

See: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/i51tdk/getting_original_amazon_dash_buttons_working/

Currently, when I run the exploit, I simply get a short solid red for a few seconds, and then shuts off. Any additional key press results in a red indicator.

I have 2 of these devices (One opened), that I'd be willing to send, or I can jump on a call and discuss what needs to be done to get the info needed in order to attempt to hack these older devices as well. Really sucks what amazon did, as simply bricking all the devices is a complete waste, and really shows what type of company Amazon is.

I may add support for Amazon Dash v1 devices, though I have to look into it. Thanks!

@Nekmo Please let me know if I can provide anything. I can ship you a V1 or even be your guinea pig if you need to test out audio or anything else.
