Spectral measurements by FTIR or CVF instruments often require special 
processing to prepare the measured data for use elsewhere in the analysis 
process. Details of the requirements it to be determined.

Note that there is a significant HyperSpectral data analysis capability 
available in Spectral Python. These Spectral Python algorithms can be applied 
once data is properly transformed after capture by FTIR
