Wrong keyboard mapping #154

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. My keyboard has (in blue) a " where an = is shown, many other keys are
'swapped'

What version of the product are you using?
1. system-gb-20110529-BETA.zip

Is there an easy fix for changing this?

Hi,
same issue over here - changed to QUERTZ, rebooted and again - mapping it's
still QUERTY.
The settings menu lists QUERTZ, but during boot it's not loaded?!

Hi Guys,
still having the same issue:

system-gb-20110529-BETA.zip.
upgraded from Openetna V6.3-rc7, wiped chache only.

Keyboard-mapping set to "QUERTZ", but still on "QUERTY" and some keys (like
function) seems not to be mapped at all....

bests,
Erwin

Hello, since the upgrade to System image for CyanogenMod7.1.0-SNAPSHOT
(Gingerbread 2.3.5) 9 / 2, the case of the physical keyboard do not work,
because when you press the button to switch capital letters, it displays Be an
empty'm a different character than the one requested.

thanks, that solved my issue:

C:> adb remount
C:> adb shell
# setprop persist.sys.kl.eve_qwerty ""

then reboot

changed my settings:
In Settings => Language & keyboard settings => Built-in keyboard => Keyboard
Mapping.

Then reboot (again)

thanks!!
