You can not change the keyboard layout #177

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Entrar  Ajustes ==>Idiomas y teclado ==> Teclado integrado
2. Keyboard Mapping option Open and select the QWERTY keyboard (GW620)
3. Restart the phone
4. The keyboard remains the same.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Using the keyboard with their corresponding figures GW620

What version of the product are you using?
1. gapps-gb-20110828-signed
2. system-gb-20110918-snapshot
3. boot-gb-110429-snapshot-224mb

On what operating system?

Do you have logcat or dmesg ?
 (adb logcat -d > logcat.txt, adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt)

What version of the *Official LG* Firmware were before using Custom
firmware ?
(V20G, V20D, V15x, V16x etc. )

Please provide any additional information below.

I try to change the keyboard layout but it does not. And even try to change the 
files that are the folders keylayout and keychars but nothing happens.

And tried it but I did not grab the correct key. Before that I spent. With the 
system-gb-20110906-snapshot not that happens.

Perform these steps to verify the information and these are the results.

1. check persist.sys.kcm.eve_qwerty property

   adb shell getprop persist.sys.kcm.eve_qwerty

    gw620

 2. check persist.sys.kl.eve_qwerty

   adb shell getprop persist.sys.kl.eve_qwerty

    eve_qwerty

but still I have problems with the symbols

you have to remove "pesist.sys.kl.eve_qwerty". Please read above link carefully.

I do not know what happened but I decided to reload everything and now works 
fine.
