What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Contacts
2. Switch to Dialer tab
3. Wait ca. 10 seconds > Force Close happens
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Dialer should allow entering number and dial when hitting the headset symbol,
but this only works if you dial really fast and hit the button before the FC.
What version of the product are you using?

2. system-gb-20120109-snapshot.img

On what operating system?
Unbuntu 11.10
Do you have logcat or dmesg ?

When disabling T9 search in the dialer settings, the FC does no longer happen.
