Phone woot boot

What steps will reproduce the problem?

The phone should be able to boot

Do you have logcat or dmesg ?
 (adb logcat -d > logcat.txt, adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt)

What version of the *Official LG* Firmware were before using Custom
firmware ?
(V20G, V20D, V15x, V16x etc. )

Please provide any additional information below.

I install openeve trough the Amon RA Recovery and it installed so I reboot the 
phone and its stuck on a OpenEVE Boot screen with a Gingerbread and a Penguin 
on it and I can't access fastboot either. Please help because this is my dad's 
phone and I don't want to breat it

I have also had this problem with the boot up.  The rom works for a few months 
and then one day it gets stuck on the boot animation.  Sometimes there's a tiny 
lock logo at the top left corner during this phase.
I have to reload the boot file and gapps.  I lose all my contacts and messages. 
 apps remain tho.

It's really annoying to have to reload rom files.  even worse if I travel, then 
I have a non working phone.
