Another option is how it's implemented in Nova Launcher, Action Launcher, and several other popular launchers: the scrollable dock. So instead of scrolling up and duplicating the app drawer gesture, swiping left or right on the dock scrolls to a new page, and it is horizontally paginated. Most launchers I've seen go from 1 to 3 pages for the dock.
So glad someone posted this. It seems the Microsoft Launcher is the only one that does this. I've tried the launchers that scroll to the right and I still prefer a swipe up expanded dock. Hope this feature request gets included.
Already on the todo for the next alpha releases.
Any progress sir? 🙏
+1 :)
I would like something similar to Microsoft Launcher's Swipe Up To Expand Dock feature. I use this feature way too much to move from Microsoft Launcher to Neo Launcher.
Description of how it works on Microsoft Launcher: when enabled I have the option to either have 1 extra row or 2 extra rows, and when swiping up on the dock it will expand to either 2 rows total or 3 rows total depending what I set my settings to. While the dock is expanded the rest of the home screen icons and widgets disappear and the background is heavily blurred.
I don't know if I am allowed to upload a screenshot of another app entirely on here, so I'll just recommend downloading Microsoft Launcher and look at the feature to see exactly what I'm talkimg about.
