Servers refuse to sync from behind a VPN #469

The other day, I noticed that F-Droid was pulling down updates, while Neo Store wasn't. Attempting to sync with the servers manually through the home tab resulted in nothing done: no notification, of failure or otherwise.

After disconnecting from my VPN Neo Store appeared to pull down updates automatically and manually successfully. So it seems there may be something Neo Store is doing from differently from F-Droid to cause this issue?

Can you please test the latest 1.0.0-alpha release from the community groups?

Please note that I use VPN and it works fine, only that some repos refuse VPN IPs… so are you checking the same set of repos with same IP?

Can you please test 1.0.0 (with default downloader and teh system's DownloadManager) and report back
