Interesting.. On the R10, the LED's are controlled individually by the RPi directly, so I'm guessing something interrupted the animation to turn them off and they just got stuck in that state until they were next updated (maybe a check for the mic mute state).
Watching the animations, it looks like the 0
position is at 3 o'clock since that's where all of the animations start.
okay - did a second test - and got 5 of the LEDs off - others still on loaded this to the usb/hdd ,debian-neon-image-rpi4_2024-07-19_21_45 got it loaded to Neon, put my neon.yaml and ngi-user files on that image. told it to update to the 08b1 --- and got the result - only 5 LEDs off !!! ' so looks like a timing issue somewhere in 08b1 .......? they do turn off before the 'Neon ready" - maybe 45-?? secs before the announcement
was running the latest 'b50' beta , did several 'reboot services' [t-shoot play local music]; decided to check my 'notification Bell icon'. 08_08b1 was available - told Neon to go ahead. AS it did the second linux boot-up, as the 'Circling Gui" started up , the green led Ring also occured. BUT only 1 LED extinguished - [3 o'clock position] and the others stayed on. (PATTERN CHANGE) .. several minutes.. ONCE Neon 'is ready' ; I noticed the Green LEDs were off * pi4-8G, sj201-R10, HDMI (no DSI),
