Indeed, that's a problem. I'll see what can I do.
More or less fixed. I don't really like how the lighting came to be. Test please.
I tested the new version of the map. Lighting of the lower part is better than before, of course, although still a little dim in some parts. Maybe it might be done even a bit better (maybe by having the sky -not the sun- cast a bit more light?), but it's already a good step ahead. We may take it as "done" or not. Also, in this place I still se a bit strange shadow, but it could just be q3map2 light stage working a bit differently with brushes and patches. I have a feeling there is a small brush at the end of a bevel there... I don't know why the bevel does not simply extend to the pillar, but I guess there may be some reason and it's a glitch small enough to not being worthy modifying too much geometry.... Curious.... for some reason now the shadow appears on the brush, while in the previous version it appeared on the patch... However I'm not sure it's the same pillar as before.
Also, as a friend of mine made me noticed that v4 version of the map has got too bright, as some shadows from v3 have been lost. This is from v3: And this is from v4 beta:
I need to re-do the lighting on this level. All the previous lighting (including those panels) will be out of the level.

Still unhappy with the lighting. The blue is also hard on the eyes.
Tested version 230430. The lower part (under the map) looks OK to me now. Maybe the upper floor is too much lit... There is still also this small problem, but maybe it's too nitpicky stuff.
Still not 100% perfect, but maybe we may live with this lighting?
I'm checking old "todo lists" from the forum against z_oacmp1v4_beta-220322.pk3.
OACMPDM7: The lower part of the map ("under the map") is really dark. Fortunately, one does not go a lot there. Maybe the sky shader did not spread light? Also, in the second screenshot you can see some weird small shadows. Not super important.
