Virtual keyboard interface turns invisible #2023

Describe the bug

During normal operation, the Neos keyboard will turn invisible/lose its visual interface. The keyboard opens in place as normal but has no texture.

Relevant issues

None that are relevant to this issue. Issue 1606 is similar, but bug trigger is not the same.

To Reproduce

Not entirely sure. This is what happened both times this bug occurred for me.

  1. Open world inspector
  2. Click on empty space outside of inspector to close
  3. Click in the search bar

Expected behavior

The virtual keyboard opens, and the visuals are properly in place.

The problem can be worked around by favoriting a keyboard layout from inventory, however this can also turn invisible, requiring the keyboard to be re-favorited in order to be visible again. I will update if this happens again.

If it has no texture it looks like it might be UI/UIX related, can you get an image and log at all?

Is there an issue with other UIX stuff? Could be related too #1985 as during heavy loads, keyboard interactions are delayed or never fires when pressing keys

@TehTurk - If the problem happens again I'll try and get an image, but it'll be a little difficult to see. As mentioned, the actual tool DOES spawn like it's supposed to, but it is completely invisible. It can still be interacted with and keys function when pressed, but I have no idea what keys are where or anything as there is no visual for the keyboard in this state. As for a log, what sort of log should I be looking for and where?

@AshtonSparx I haven't seen any other UIX issues, and everything other than the keyboard still functions. I was able to send voice messages to people while the keyboard error was happening and that is how I learned about the work-around of favoriting a keyboard layout from your inventory. The rest of the Dash menu and radial menus still functioned for me both times this happened.
