Describe the bug?

In my high poly world "Deep fried oculus quest" the shadows seem to be flickering in desktop mode. I haven't tried finding another world that does this.

I cannot reproduce this. Does this happen if you switch to a default avatar?

Do you have FarClip override on your avatar by any chance?

It actually doesn't happen on my avali or the default avatar, I do have an Avatar Render Settings component on my bestboi, and the near clip is enabled but i don't have any number in it. I think it might be that. If i uncheck it it goes away mostly.

What do you mean by "I don't have any number in it"? Does that mean 0? If you push Near/Far clip to extreme values, you will get flickering, because of how the depth buffer and others get distributed.

I recommend using sane values. Probably no less than 0.01 (or 0.001 at most) for NearClip and under 8192 for far clip. The more you stretch this range, the worse visual artifacts you'll get.

I don't even have an ear clip on my avatar and i still get this problem I don't know it might be a floating-point thing

so I did some testing of my own and it happens with my avatar with no near clip but does not happen with Neos bot I've done nothing with my viewpoint that I think would actually do this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geyhJkXSNsM
