Crashing on random actions #3507

Describe the bug?

On random actions, (no correlation) such as joining a world, opening inventory, spawning something, or sometimes out of the blue. neos crash with no known cause

when it crashes it freezes everything then blacks out my computer and messes up steam VR and the Vive console

Expected behavior

your steam vr headset will fresze but you will;l still hear the game then it stops as your computers screens go black then a few seconds latter everything comes back, you get a neos error thinggy and your steam vr and viveport saying there was an error

Additional context

this has been going on since early October. and happens to me almost every day of playing, I've just suffered through it thinking it was just an occasional thing but it happens so often now I can't ignore it

also, note, this happens with no other games

this happens in both the steam build and the standalone

incaes its needed I use a vive cosmos (original not pro)

I believe I also experience this issue, but I run Linux, using the Windows build through Proton. I made an issue previously under the assumption it was isolated to Linux (#3412 ), but it doesn't seem to be limited to Linux, since you seem to be experiencing the same issues I'm having. If we can confirm that these issues are the same, I should close my previous issue.

" but you're forced to go into Desktop mode to continue playing" I cant even go into desktop mode so I don't think so

As I said in that issue, the issues on the native Linux build might be completely different from the ones I experience in Proton, and I have not used the native build in awhile. Looking at just the similarities between my issues in Proton and your issues here, they are basically the exact same. One of your logs matches mine as well, with an engine unresponsive message stuck with the same WorldSessionState.

i see well maybe it is, i personally do not know
