Advanced Taxon Search not working #17

Something has broken in the Advanced Taxon Search in Neotoma Explorer. It's not returning full lists of taxa any more. Test Search: Dataset Type: Vertebrates undiff. Taxon name: Mammut* This should return a whole bunch of mastodon and mammoth species names. Right now, returning an empty search.

Also, recommend waiting on resolving this issue until we move to the new Explorer and APIs.

Still seems to be broken.

Note: this is not necessarily a bug, but poor user interface design. eg, the first step is to choose which high-level taxon to use and thus which one you choose alters returned results. For example...for Mastadon and Mammoth, no results are returned if searching for "Vertebrates undiff", but you first need to load the "Mammals"
