[Bug]: Sampling Tool in Linux does not allow parameter changes

What happened?

My system is Ubuntu 22.04, running straight from ./start-ui.sh

I can do a sample, but if i need to change a parameter on the left panel, there are no visible UI controls.

What did you expect would happen?

Would expect to see input controls.
