This draft PR added new functionality with the ASTRACTL- 17320 & ASTRACTL-17532 PR ad addresses most of the PR feedback: Quick summary of implementation:

Hi, thank you for the contribution. I'm unsure, why the pipeline failed here, doesn't seem to related to your changes. I'll have to take a closer look into this
