I checked newly released r4252,I knew this was a developing release,so I
didn't test the mute/unmute functions, but I still have some suggestions on
UI.
I think one click to mute/unmute is important in conference,so confirming
dialog when mute/unmute globally/others is bothering, remove it or add a "do
not ask again" checkbox.
add 'mute/unmute' at user list window->last column of the user's line to
allow him to mute/unmute himself.by now he can only do that on his video
window,if he select audio only,he must use (Re)start audio/video settings to
do the same thing,too complicated.

Hi David,
I think we have implemented that now.
The mute functionality is basically a moderator tool.
We will add some function to do a bulk operation on all users to mute and
un-mute too or to give exclusive microphone to a user and mute everybody else.
However the user still has some possibility to un-mute itself from the video
box. But all other places are drive by the moderator.
There are 3 icons for muting responsible:
The one on top of the user list (showing self status)
The one in the own video pod (showing self status too, but always able to
change the own settings here)
The one in the user-list (here only moderator can mute/unmute)
It might be a little bit suprising to end users but actually I found it might
be the best decision to leave every user the opportunity to mute himself or
unmute ... cause in the end every user is able to mute by re-syncing his
audio/video device ...
