Which version of OpenMeetings are you running?
tried rc7 on my own server and tried also the demo (26/1/2008)

What's your operating system on client and server side?
using ubuntu (Gusty) linux and firefox (2.0.0.11) with Shockwave Flash 9.0 r115

Is it a problem related to the client/usability or server-side?
client side

Did you have any trace/debug output?
no

To get the debug output of the client run the software in debug-modus
Debug modus of the client:
http://$RED5-HOME:$RED5-HTTPPORT/xmlcrm/maindebug.lzx.lzr=swf8.swf

for example for your local copy:
http://localhost:5080/xmlcrm/maindebug.lzx.lzr=swf8.swf

or see live example:
http://inno02.fh-pforzheim.de:8080/xmlcrm/maindebug.lzx.lzr=swf8.swf

Server side loging:
browser your Red5-Home directory. There's a log-file directory. On linux
boxes you can run red5 using:
nohup ./red5.sh &
and debug output will be written to nohup.out

please attach any debug output to get a patch on time

I will have to ping OpenLaszlo Core Developers to find a solution.
For the moment i cannot deliver a simple workaround

there is an workaround availible, i have to check how the client behaves if
compiled
with different FPS.

see:

now there is an official fix availible to build also SWFs via the browser

see:
http://www.openlaszlo.org/pipermail/laszlo-dev/2008-January/012904.html

with this fix an SWF with 12 fps should be possible to build and to fix this
Issue..

but it does not fix it ... for the moment i don't know how to fix that. As long
as
Adobe does not fix the CPU Issue with NetStream + Publish-Live there will be no
fix
for this.

Can be not fixed to a release-date. It depends also on the Adobe Flash Plugin
for
Linux/OSx

Update to Flash Player 10 beta:
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/

it fixes for me the Problem.
