issue with MS fragger in PD #2

I am having issue with MS fragger. Can you have a look and let me where I am going wrong. image

We have exactly the same problem. Has been this issue solved?

Hi,

this is a closed issue, so should already be solved long time ago. A possible reason that you receive this error is because there is no pepXML file generated by MSFragger. Could you please send us more detailed log information? Thanks.

Hi, we have now Proteome Discoverer 2.3 and MS Fragger 2.4. I tested also earlier version of MS Fragger few months ago with the same results. Enclosed you will find some details, hope this will help.

Hi Juraj,

Thanks for the reply. Based on the log file, it seems there is no JRE installed in your computer. Could you please check if you have the JRE in your computer? Thanks.

Hi, yes we have JRE installed (32 bit). So, we have tried to install also 64 bit version, and it works! Thanks! Juraj

Hui-yin let’s make a “common problems” file on the website and add “check that you have JRE 64 bit installed, not 32 bit”
