The file->property method in FAQ to unblock did not work in Windows 10 but the following command line through power-shell (admin) did unblock-file -path "C:\Program Files\Thermo\Proteome Discoverer 2.4\System\Release\MSFraggerPDv24.dll" , might be helpful for others facing the similar issue, hence sharing!

There is another workaround that I would like to add as well. Even after unblocking the file in PD 2.4, the nodes still did not show up. In the command prompt (run as administrator) I ran the following command:

Thermo.Magellan.Server –install

In the readout, MSFragger should appear as green text and then you are all set. I have had to run this command when installing Karl Mechtler's nodes before. May be useful to add to the wiki
