Summary

"The Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI and NAS connections."

We should say this: "The Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI connections." NAS configurations are possible, but not recommended and only in certain situations.

Public issues must not contain sensitive information

Had a group chat discussion with Dan and Bobby on this and agreed on the following update.

Original:

"The Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI and NAS connections."

Updated:

"Standalone Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect appliance ports are recommended only for iSCSI connections. When NAS connections are used with appliance ports, additional Nexus / compliant switches are required for certain failure scenarios."
