However, that KB only applies when cluster LIF auto-revert is NOT disabled. In the doc page, it is explicitly stated to disable auto-revert on cluster LIFs. In that case, it is perfectly safe to just continue with the upgrade, as the LIFs will automatically migrate to the upgraded switch when we bring down the switch currently hosting the connections. And the ISLs will come back online once the upgrade is completed.
I would like for us to clarify that the ISLs being down is expected, and it is safe to continue with the upgrade UNLESS you are having issues with LIFs auto-reverting.
