Summary

Please add the following command for Step 7 section a.

run-host-command ipmitool lan set 1 ipsrc static

The command list should look like this...

run-host-command ipmitool lan set 1 ipsrc static

run-host-command ipmitool lan set 1 ipaddr Appliance_IP

run-host-command ipmitool lan set 1 netmask Netmask_IP

run-host-command ipmitool lan set 1 defgw ipaddr Default_gateway

Hi @Woodrow17, we are not planning to make this update to version 11.6 of the documentation site but we will address this issue in future versions. Thanks again for bringing this issue to our attention and for understanding.
