Summary

1) The page correctly explains why MD capacity is important:

The object metadata capacity of a StorageGRID system controls the maximum number of objects that can be stored on that system.

But despite all sorts of useful low-level details, it gives no answer how to calculate that number.

2) There's also no information about SGAs - how much capacity is available on each appliance (Metadata Reserved Space and Actual Metadata Reserved Space).

After reading how this calculation is done, the reader invariably wonders what are the actual numbers and/or default setting on each SGA, but both of these details are missing.
