Installer resets PATH variable #9

Windows XP with Office 2010: After installing this package my PATH variable is
reset and path to netcdf4excel folder is set as only value. I used system
restore to get back and then reproduced again.

Now I wonder how this could be unnoticed:

1. Whole world suffers from hypocrisia and no one thinks about reporting
2. All that downloaded never installed the package, as if they did OS will
simply fail to work

This package is known to work on a large variety of windows based systems : xp,
vista and seven (32 bits) without any problem...
May be you could give us more information about your issue, for example
- what is the PATH value before installing the package
- in what directory did you try to install it
- did the NSIS installer report any problem during installation (try "Show
details" button)

So, are you saying that this package is tested on XP and with default settings
it installs without problems?

That's the reason why I asked you about your PATH value and instal dir... and
yes it works fine on xp with default settings.
Keep in mind that this add-in is intended to work with office 2007 and not 2010.

Fixed in version 2.2 (NSIS installer 2.46 with long string patch)
