It looks like we have similar goals, the autoscaling code/setup tools could prove useful to this project (gets rid of all the weirdness of aws-tools setup / sets some defaults for key/config locations)

PS: This is not really an "Issue", but aparently gorzell cannot be reached by github messages :)
