2 years ago OK @klebba — This is by no means a finished product, but I was curious to try and get a POC of what rolling our own templating engine might actually look like.
Have a look. Or, don't — I'm likely going to let this sit on the back burner for a while now 🤷
The TL;DR is that it was much easier than anticipated code the bulk of the behavior up.
This is a first pass at what it might look like to ship a templating engine as part of
x-elementsuch that we can hit our goal of zero dependencies.
