Restarting the server should not cause this problem. Only relocation of file can cause this to happen.
I think we can close this issue. The current setup of Metitree doesn't have this I assume.
I agree that this issue can be closed now, since we are running the MetiTree now over the internet at your server, but if we want to install MetiTree locally in future, this is a serious issue to take care of (and prevent lots of double work!)
It happened after restarting the server, without replacing the files.... (but maybe something changed without me knowing and wanting it to be changed)
When the server is restarted, the MetiTree website does not recognize the in-house processed data anymore (at least, that is my interpretation of the fact that all imported and processed files seem to be gone)
