Blogpost: "How to setup and run a Juno node?" #1393

Open stranger80 opened 8 months ago

Publish a tutorial/walkthrough blogpost explaining the actions required to run a Juno node. This is to be published alongside the P2P MVP release and should include P2P node operation aspects (eg. network setup/connectivity required?)

This seems to evolve into a 2-part publication: Part I: https://www.notion.so/nethermind/Juno-walk-though-blog-post-b53a1d28f31346cc98b053316a143c6c Part II: https://www.notion.so/nethermind/Juno-p2p-overview-ef846befb43444e191db30120d18ea66

Marketing Team have been notified about Juno p2p implementation rolling into year 2024. It feels that weeks 1-2 of Jan are a good time to start the review cycle for the articles above. NOTE: discussed with Mktg that if this is published as two parts - they shouldn't be more than 1 week apart. During the reviews it may become apparent that it is actually sensible to publish both as one combined blogpost.

I think this is stale, shall we close it?

not really, this is still chased by Marketing team, and feels worth the time, as per https://www.notion.so/nethermind/Blog-post-part-1-How-to-juno-in-p2p-mode-b12caed7645f4bad80e0ffff9d112019

The current idea is to publish the current state of P2P as "experimental feature" (not for prod use, and with caveats, etc.), and coordinate the publish with this blogpost - how does that sound?
