In the ​ENCOUNTER ICE PHASE​,​ the Runner can interact with a piece of ice and the ice’s subroutines can resolve.

It can be a visual on the run timeline. Allows ICE-interactions. Implying that outside of encounters, interactions with ICE are prohibited.
