this is a follow up from https://lkml.org/lkml/2018/2/19/565 - the issue is affecting us pretty severely (have to take devices offline to resize them), so I was wondering if the fix is pending. Thank you.

I just saw a patch fly by on the mailinglist to fix this, so closing the bug report (which is against the kernel, not userspace)
