@JCZeng1 Can you open a PR that adds this as a Markdown file that is formatted with bulleted lists? It would be helpful if you can also mention what the current file sizes are.

What is a "PR"?

I know what a Markdown file is, but I don't know how to create one.

@JCZeng1 "Pull Request". GitHub has examples but if you wanted to do a call we could make one together to walk you through.

Markdown is just a typesetting markup style/language, so you can just create a plain text file that has a file extension of .md in your text editor like normal and then just start writing Markdown inside of it.

So for example

* `stopt_PwPy8`
* `stopWt_dilep_PwPy8`
* `stopWt_PwPy8`
* `stops_PwPy8`

creates

What is the format of these files? Are they xAOD style or flat root files?

matthewfeickert commented 3 years ago

@JCZeng1 For reference this is an example of what would be useful file lists: https://gitlab.cern.ch/feickert/jet-cleaning-run-2/-/blob/feat/HCW-2020/run/filelist_MC16.txt
