Do you have any papers that could help introduce us to the basic biology involved in what we're doing (e.g. fluorescence, synapse, etc)?
the array tomography paper is a start. i added: http://journal.frontiersin.org/article/10.3389/fnana.2015.00100/full which should be helpful too.
