feat: change bg to plain white #21

Also darkens the top header text to make it visible.

I couldn't get the webapp to work here. Even with rubyenv etc., I can't install an older version of ruby---compilation segfaults :roll_eyes: , but this what it'll look like (by changing bits in the devtools):

I've looked at this on my desktop setup and it works fine. Can change the live site if @scrook is happy with it.

@scrook the main motivation for this is to have even less of a different feel between the main site and the docs. All of the pages will still be available from the old site but will just have a white background.
