When an attacker hits a target with an attack, it would be great to be able to configure custom triggers such as healing the attacker, damaging the attacker or applying a certain buff to the attacker.
Here's a short list of effects that I think may be useful to be able to configure:
Healing
Damaging
Applying persistent damage if possible
Etc
Below, I've detailed some features I'd like to see added in order of expected simplicity to implement:
Simple version:
Apply static effects to attacker on hit
Configurable damage/healing which is subtracted/added from the attacker on hit
Optionally, a message notifying the health change
Advanced version:
Apply dynamic effects to attacker based on the target
Example: The enemy has the "Fire Shield" spell active on them, the attacker should then take damage when striking that enemy.
Some way to configure what effects will trigger when being struck. Preferably from the character sheet, perhaps with a special buff?
