Request: provide a zip file of the extension, incase the browser blocks the crx for whatever reason

I'm on Microsoft Edge Dev and it keeps blocking the crx file when I try to install it, saying "This extension is not from any known source, and may have been added without your knowledge.", even though I clearly downloaded it with full intention of doing so a second earlier. I circumvented this before by converting the file to a zip and installing the unpacked extension instead, so I feel like it would be useful to provide an extractable zip file in case the crx doesn't work
