Tweaks for trib to owen 197379

• [x] well - this statement needs to be revisited - "PSCIS crossing 197379 is located on Tributary to Owen Creek approximately 5km west of the town of Smithers" - ha. May as well put the first three sentences into 1 as well.
• [x] should update the references for fish observation info in all memos as it comes from bcfishobs which was run just the other day on fresh data pulled from the province.
• [x] Gollner2013 reference not in the bib file
• [x] The crossing has a decent sized outlet drop which is really important so that should be mentioned in the Stream Characteristics at Crossing section

• [x] let's sub out "lots of" for "abundant". Have a peak at the guidelines for describing habitat in the site card field guide
• [x] how steep was it below the falls 10%?, 17?, 8? if we state this we should quantify.
• [ ] "The habitat was rated as high value as an important migration corridor containing suitable spawning habitat and having moderate rearing potential." Have a read of the table Table 3.4: Habitat value criteria. I don't use the word "critical" because it has a lot of connotations about what we know and don't know but it is good to try to distinguish in your text why it is high vs just medium. Also, we should say which species the habitat has spawning and which it has rearing for. Resident rainbow vs coho use different size gravels so we should be explicit if it is good for coho (which it is).

Conclusion

• [x] we can ditch the reference to 2021 since we are ranking it now.
• [x] Should define MoF as well as what a "design' is (ie. engineer design for a replacement structure that will more effectively facilitate upstream migration for all life stages and species.)

this site is like 28km south-west of Houston at like km 30 on the Morice-Owen FSR.... Need to look at Q to get bearings

MoF is Ministry of Forests. Mark works with Northern Engineering Group which is part of MoF.

CGL has a camp called Huckleberry that is right there. Will look at upper watershed for range impacts

Stream Characteristics Downstream the average gradient was 3.3%.... but then "Gradient was relatively stable at 4 degrees"

• [x] The habitat was rated as medium value for salmonid rearing and spawning.(no real information here)
