I tweaked the code to convert docx file to rmd using pandoc. I guess you have to save the Word document as a plain text file (.txt) or an HTML file (.html). This step is necessary to ensure Pandoc can process the file correctly. Seemed to work well for the tailboard and incident/close call template Iword docs I converted. See for yourself.
