Need to add a note that since we are a safe certified company ( https://www.bcforestsafe.org/ ) we are required to have documentation of team meetings at least once a month and provide them in our annual audit. In the field - tailboards can be used as "monthly meetings" documentation
Currently past "meetings" are kept in oneDrive/Projects/safety/meetings
We are behind a month so we can do two this month and name one 2023-12 or December or whatever...
Meetings are usually just an email sent to all of us with *@newgraphenvironment.com email addresses.
We are signed up for safety alerts and sometimes those are great items for an informal little email and opportunity to update the HSP document and maybe even things like tailboard forms.
The process of writing the meeting itself is a great way to get yourself and others aquatinted what what systems/documentation are already in place (can put links to the HSP and forms), improve documentation, highlight issues/deficiencies and add new depth to the overall program. As annoying as being Safe Certified is - the documentation and systems that it forces you to put in place to be in compliance with the Worker's Compensation Act is genius and prevents injuries. Continuous improvement is such a valid path.
