See the change log here:
https://code.google.com/p/opentx/wiki/OpenTx_changelog_EN, in which mentions
the calibration auto-appearing issue.

Have you actually done the calibration procedure? The calibration will only
appear if the radio is not yet calibrated. Once calibration is done and saved,
it will not appear anymore.

I think I did. But maybe I formatted it after, which erased the calibration
data. I don't remember to be honest. This morning, I loaded EEPROM into
companion9x, made a few modifications, then wrote back to Taranis. Guess what,
the calibration screen is gone. Don't know what happened there. But I guess my
issue is now solved.
If it shows up again later someday, I'll try if re-calibration can fix it or
not.
Thanks,
Chen.

This is typically the kind of very obvious/frustrating thing that if it was
really a firmware bug there is no doubt that it would have already been
reported by dozens of other users - so if it hasn't the problem is very likely
on your side ;)

Don't be so sure. I'm a software developer myself. I know how many bugs you
(us) developers can create. :0
I didn't do any calibration, but the issue is still gone, for unknown reason.
So I would think that the bug is still hidden somewhere in firmware.

I really think you did what you said, i.e. write an eeprom without calibration
data from C9X.
