Adding child 11408, nothing happens for Andy King (Android) #130

Message from Andy King:

I am having difficulty adding a child. I created a new participant (11408, parent email sandy.spade@hmail.com) and have successfully logged in to the app (Android v0.1.0-331) with that email. However, when I click on Add Child I just get the following screen:

The blue message disappears after a few seconds but no child is added (pressing Add Child again just results in the same blue message which disappears again after a few seconds).

Calling Oxford's API for this child returns:

Checking with team what we want to happen in this case (guessing we prevent adding child)
